Asha has given new ray of hope to Wild Buffalo of central India

Eight years of relentless efforts to bring back these last remaining magnificient gaints of central India have ultimately beared fruits in the form of "KIRAN". This was the first time in eight years when a female calf born to Asha only remaining wild buffalo in Udanti-Sitanadi tiger reserve. Wild Buffalo is the state animal of chhattisgarh and is highly endangered. The population of these buffalos are limited to forest reserves of Udanti Sitanadi. Scientist from WTI Mr. Rajendra Mishra who had took this project and work upon it since the beginning.
